Why is monitoring wellbeing important

Wellbeing is a process in time and is impacted by important mental, emotional, social, and physical factors. By reflecting on our wellbeing states daily, we increase our self-awareness through self-reflection, thus providing us with an opportunity to make simple adjustments that can help purposefully manage our wellbeing over time.

Allowing our wellbeing to decline without purposeful action can eventually lead to more difficult and chronic issues that can often prove more difficult to resolve.  Drawing on years of research and our experience within professional sports, the team at Hoap has worked closely with our team of experts to develop the specific metrics used within the platform that allow leaders and talent to better understand wellbeing trends.

As you begin to complete the Daily Check-in as part of the Hoap App, simply reflect on how you are currently feeling at the time you complete the questions.  Please keep in mind that it is important to complete the daily questions at the same time every day to establish consistency with the time of day that we are reflecting on our physical, mental and emotional states.

It will take a few days before there is enough data in the system to enable you to see how you are progressing against your previous trends over time.  After a couple of weeks, you will begin to see how your various wellbeing states are tracking and then begin to reflect on why they are moving in the direction they are and what steps or actions you can take to make positive change over the following day or two.
